When you apply for a credit card or any other type of loan, the creditor will pull your credit report to assist them. These inquiries do appear on your credit report so that other creditors know when you’ve applied for additional credit and how often. Generally these stay on your credit history for two years. Too many inquiries (approved or denied) in a short period of time is a potential indicator that you are desperate to obtain credit and are therefore a higher risk. This can lower your score.

A bit. When you apply for credit they check your score. When other people check your credit, you generally lose 0-10 points per credit check (unless shopping for a car loan or mortgage). Those stop being factored into your score after 1 year and fall off of your report in two years. So don’t go crazy applying for things. Plan out what you want and work toward that goal.

As far as I know it’s not really affecting your credit score. you may try checking this
