Credit score bottomed recently to 5xx from 7xx for years. Everything is paid off now. Should I use an existing credit card to repair credit? Or shall I apply for a new one?

If you pay the total (not minimum) amount due each time..will your credit score increase or not? I heard someone say that it’s good to have a balance. Is that true?

I had an interview on Monday and they offer me a job on Wed. Had they check background/credit before or after offered? I am worry about my credit even though backgroud is clean.

If i get free credit report from sites of USA or UK it doesn’t work for Bangladesh and i don’t think there is any site in Bangladesh that gives free credit report so where can i get it from?

There are stories about scams agencies those should be avoided.

I am overwhelmed with loans, Credit Cards, and bills. The thing is I have decided to go through Consumer Credit Counseling to have my interests on my loans lowered and pay off my loans, and the Credit Cards which are now in collections. I cannot handle this debt on what I make, because my job has cut hours, and cut completely out overtime. I was told by someone who went through Credit Counseling, and she sent them the money that they were suppose to send the different bill collectors to pay their debt, but the Credit Counseling took too long sending out those payments, and she received numerous of calls from her debtors. Eventually the money was sent to her debtors, but it caused her credit to look worsier on her Credit Report, than if she would of handle it herself, because they took too long sending the payments. My question is, Is getting help from Credit Counselors the way to go?

I dont want to have bad credit cause of my childish actions. Im willing to do what it take to overcome this and start fresh.

I live in a somewhat small college town. I tried to find a place online that specifically offers loans to people with bad credit. I found a few. After I applied, I was not turned down because of my credit. The websites sent me messages saying that they do not offer credit to people in my area. Where can I go to find a loan for someone with bad credit? Thank you.

I’m planning to get married in a couple years, but I’m trying to go to college. My parents have bad credit and they say they can’t get loans and that a grant is a long shot or something…they are acting like I can’t even do it. But I want to. Would I have a better chance of getting loans and things when I’m declared independent from them and do newly married couples have a better shot at getting loans? Help!

Ok here is my situation.
I am trying to get the no income verification loan to buy my first house.
I have 10% of the price of the house to pay for down payment.
About my credit: I have everything paid off in full. All debts are paid off in full. but this was recently so my credit score didn’t go up yet it still at 515.

Now my question: Can I get a no income verification loan with my credit score this low?

Also How long does it take to update my credit score?
