We were recently married, each came to the marriage with a home. We are selling one and are not in foreclosure but for financial reasons we need to unload the house. There is no way we will sell it for what we owe, we are in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. Home values continue to decline. Wonder if anyone had done a short sale in a similar situation and what your credit looked like after. It is my husband house entirely in his name and he currently has near perfect credit. As the title says I’m looking for a auto loan I’m not concerned whether it is a unsecured loan or a used car loan.I’m currently looking at a vehicle for 5k I have 2k cash to put down. My experian credit score is 586 equifax is 595 is this a possibility for such a low loan amount? And if so can anyone direct me to a loan company who will help me in my situation?

I am 25 years old and attended college out of high school. Due to illness in the family I had dropped out to return home and help out. Since then my grandmother has passed away and I have fallen on hard times. I am not eligible for federal or state student aid due to my loans defaulting. I wish to go finish up my college degree in order to obtain a good job. With this said I have poor credit. I am looking for student loan lenders that lend to people with bad credit or do not credit check at all. Interest rates are not my concern as of now. I simply want to return to college and finish my degree no matter what the cost is further down the road. Thank you for all your help.
