I am trying to make $100 bucks each in various accounts, but my sister says it affects your credit rating and that it’s stupid to do this. Is she right?
What affect do student loans have on a credit score in any case? Whether they are new and not yet due or have been defferred for a while? Does having student loans go against your credit even if they are not due yet?
My husband and I are in the market for a vehicle and I was told if your shopping is done within seven days it wont affect your score. In other words if you visit for example 3 different car dealerships and all three you submit applications to that as long as you settle for a deal within a week that it wont effect your current credit score. Or something to that effect. Appreciate any feedback on this.

I’m looking for a credit card because I’m in college and i need to start building up my credit and i have applied for a few cards and have been turned down for lack of credit history. I know if a lot of companies look at your credit score it can hurt your score. Does that still happen if you have no credit score/history?
I know the obvious, I mean you really wouldnt be able to buy another house.
Does it affect your overall score though or just when it comes to buying a house? I mean, you dont know the whole story, what if 2 people divorce and neither of them can afford it themselves, they just let it foreclose and move on.
How long does a foreclosure stay on your credit?
I was told that everytime someone runs your credit for an approval to something, and if you already have a low credit score, then it makes it drop even more.
