I have read that many lenders ignore medical bills or don’t hold them against you. Is this true? How badly do they effect your credit?
What if all bills are paid on time and paid off but the only thing you have effecting your credit is a medical bill?
THANKS

I know the simple answer is to pay off your debt, but I have also been told by paying off credit cards and closing them that hurts your credit too. So whats the best economic pattern to follow.

Try to build your credit up or never get a credit, assuming that you are a poor person. Which one is it?

Ive had a contract with verizon for 4 years and ive never seen it on my credit report. Do things like paying you utilities or phone bills on time affect your credit?

If you were to cancel your cell phone contract and pay the penalty, would that still affect your credit score?

Can those bills then be put on your credit record from the deceased family member? Can the family lose what they have due to what the relative left behind? What if they don’t have the money to pay it back? I know if it’s your husband or wife then your automatically responsible, but if it’s one of your parents what happens?

i was a day late because of new years… the automatic payment didnt go through. also is it better to pay your credit card all off at once? or slowly?

I have heard there is some kind of exchange rate benefit to using your credit card while abroad. With the dollar very weak against the euro does this hold water?

I’ve heard, but not sure if it was correctly, that if you’ve had a debt for 7 years, it automatically gets wiped off of your credit report, and your credit score returns to normal. Please let me know if that’s true or false.

If your ex changes the address on your credit card to hide the charges and she runs up your bill did she commit mail fraud?
