How long do you need to live somewhere to impact your credit score?
I read that if you live somewhere for an extended period it raises your credit score. How many years does it take to impact a credit score and if you move to a different apartment number will that effect things?
Your address has no impact whatsoever on your credit score.
Your score is based solely on how you use and manage credit. How much money your have/make or where you live do not factor into the credit score.
I have NEVER heard of this. Someone can reside at the same residence for 20 years but default on every loan or credit card they get. Doesn’t mean they get brownie points for living somewhere for an extended period of time. If they mucked up their credit by not paying their obligations on time or at all, that gets them bad credit regardless of length at their residence.
