How could I go about getting student loans if i have bad credit?

   There is no way to ” go about it.” You apply. You might get it , you might not. Make sure all other loans are paid up .

   if you have bad credit,, then you will not get it…. with a co-singer with good credit ,,,you will get the loan… the key factor is if you have any outstanding student loans… make sure that all payments are up to date… or you have a deferal…

   Don’t listen to any of these clowns. It doesn’t matter if you have the worst credit in the world you can still apply for financial aid and get plenty of grant money and stafford loans ( which is now a federal direct loan) provided you haven’t been convicted of a drug offense ( even then you can get them if you know what you are doing) and haven’t been default on the Stafford loan.

   They don’t even look at your credit.
