Does the free credit report from AnnualCreditReport.com give you the actual credit score or just a report?
I ordered my free annual credit report and I got a report telling me the good and possibly negative but where are the actual credit score numbers?
No score on that report; just the text you’ve got.
The law mandating the free annual report didn’t go far enough, in my opinion.
No, a credit score is a separate product that you must purchase.
You will always have to pay for your credit score. Any firm offering a “free” credit score will want your credit card numbers for their monthly credit monitoring service. The FICO score is the only one you need and you can buy it for a one-time fee of $19.95 at: http://www.myfico.com – There is no need to sign up for monthly credit monitoring. Just buy the one-time only score so that your credit card won’t get charged every month.
There are free credit score estimation services at http://www.creditkarma.com and https://www.quizzle.com/ – These are only estimations and NOT the real FICO score.
Your credit score does NOT come from annualcreditreport.com and is NOT free. You have to pay for your actual FICO score at http://www.myfico.com
