Right now my credit report is atrocious because of a bunch of hospital bills (from one occurrence). After 7 years, will they just disappear and I will be able to start building credit again? Will I be able to get a credit card?

I know you can get it free in the mail or over the phone.
But online with Equifax or Transunion(Canada), when you buy the instant credit report for $15(or however much it is), after you view it, do you have the option to see your credit score as well for the 7 or 8 dollars more? Or do you have to pay the whole $23 again to see your credit score?
At the bank they said that it was not because of check systems, but because of a credit report thing. Just curious as to what kind of thing on a credit report would cause a bank account to be unable to be opened ?
I got a free Credit Report (online) that gives my credit score too. In the report I saw a Collection agency activity which is incorrect as I paid off the money long ago. How can I correct the matter? How do I formally let the agencies know about it?
I was wondering when a credit card, line of credit, personal loan, auto loan, mortgage loan, etc., show up on a credit report. Does it show up instantly, a few days, at the beginning of the next month?
I have some bad debt on my credit report that is older than 10 years. How can I get them to remove it so it does not show anymore?
I just got offered a position but it is contingent upon employment history check and a credit report. I quit the last job I had without much of a notice because of personal family issues and I was no longer able to work and I told my boss that. Will this hurt my chances of officially getting this new job? What all do they need ask on employment history and credit reports?? I’m a little nervous I might not get this job…
Thanks!
I was wondering how long it takes for excessive credit inquires to be not looked at as a negative aspect of a credit report, and how long it takes for them to be off the report. Thank you.
Lets say I have 4 credit cards totalling $3000. I then wrote out 4 checks and paid off each card in full on the same day. How long would I have to wait until my credit report reflected all of these charges paid off?
I was watching my credit report earlier this year and I noticed something on two collections. They have opened dates of 4/10/2002 and 7/31/2003, but they keep reporting it every single month. How do they do that? Does it cost them money to do that? And will the reports still fall off my credit after the open date? How badly is it hurting my credit since they keep hitting it current?
