And look for in a credit check, I have a 3 things on there and all are under $300.00

The companies would not give me any info over the phone, said it had to be in writing. I want to be able to create an open account with new businesses and in order to check their credit I need to have some sort of form? Where do I get one of these forms and what is usually on something like this?

i called verizon to open a new account and they said their credit inquiry will last 30 days, but I wanted to buy a cell phone through amazon wireless. amazon wireless said that the carrier (verizon) will run another credit inquiry which means that they will run a credit check twice.

can they do that or is that a contradiction?

if they can, will count against me twice?

Working for an independent consultant and he paid me with a check from his Business Credit Card account. Will somewhere like Ace Check Cashing cash this check? Thanks!

How can it be illegal to run a credit check on someone without asking, but not illegal to pay someone else to do this? Wouldn’t it still be illegal on the part of the other person who was being paid to do this? What can be done about this?

I have just checked my credit status, and discovered that Camelot PLC have done two credit checks on me, why is this?

I was told that if you check your own credit history then it will not count against your credit score as oppose to have a bank or other institution checking your credit score for you?

I want to open a checking account but my credit is poor and I was placed on the check system along time ago. Anybody know of any banks that look past that??
