get a debit card and nothing happens to your credit? you put in money and spend what you want.

I know I’ve read where renting an apartment, getting a car loan, etc can help improve your credit if you pay on time. My question is, I know that loans and credit cards are reported on a credit report, but is your rent amount and if you have consistently made your rent payments show on your credit report?

Or is it only things such as credit cards, car loans, mortgage, that go towards your credit?

heading out to the federal building in beverly hills to try and get a passport so i can go out of the country on the march 31. Do they check your credit and background before expediting me a passport? If don’t have good credit, will they still give me a passport?

Also: Where have you worked at and did they check your credit?

If they checked your credit and you’re in the Chexsystem- did you get fired?

is it like a credit card or more on the your light bill and things like that?

I am trying to buy a new car and I don’t know what my credit score is. I know that when buying a new car credit plays a very major role in the process. Can anyone help me out? I keep seeing these pop up adds for sites that will tell you your score, but I dont trust any. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

I know the generalities of what raises or lowers your credit score. Does anyone know precisely how it is factored? It’s a point systems so there has to be some standard way it is calculated.

Will an arrest affect your credit score or show up in your credit report?

The reason I ask, is because of Inflation. If those who borrow money can repay it back with inflated dollars, than is it better to just repay your debt over the longest possible timeframe to allow for inflation to make your debt effectively worthless? Or are the high interest rates on Credit Cards protection from Inflation for CC Issuers?
