I have several different issues with my credit report. One includes an old debt that I finally paid, but it still shows up multiple times from different collection agencies. It shows zero balance, but also shows all the negative things such as late payments, etc. How do I clean up my credit report including these issues?

I am aware that I can do this myself but I don’t have time to do it myself. Can anyone refer me to a good legit credit repair service. This question is ONLY for people who have used a credit repair service so please don’t answer if you haven’t used one. I don’t have any bankrupt or liens or anything that serious, but I do have a lot of collection, late payments, 1 charge off, and 1 repossession and a lot of inquires.

How does one file Bankruptcy after job loss and stuck with a foreclosed home and repo’d automobile? Is this a long process and is it recommended? What are the key negative points if one chooses this route? Thank you!
Also, how likely is it that a broke jobless person will get sued and have wages garnished and bank accounts seized due to owing on a repo’d car?

Is it the opened date or the reported date on your credit report to tell how long something will be on there before it falls off?
one is for a credit card open date is 11/2003 reported date 7/2007 and the other is a student loan open date 10/2004 reported date 3/2007.

Which date is used to tell when things will fall off (start counting the 7-10 years from which date open or reported date)

how do you choose which services to use? there’s sooo many. and i know i need to be real careful with choosing one. does anyone recommend one they have used? i’d love info fill me in please.

Example: If I want to look at a $100,000 home through a real estate agency, will they do a credit check to see if I can even get credit for a mortgage on the home? Do most home buyers have to put down a certain amount in cash? Thank you.
