Which way is better, as far as improving my credit? Debt consolidation or credit repair?

I’m trying to improve my credit score and have come across these two options. I would like to know which of these two options is fast and reliable?

How do I know internet websites that require credit cards are not a scam?

My mom is a little paranoid and thinks every website will try to steal money from the bank account through a credit card and lose all our money.

So the question is, how can I tell if a website is a scam or not?

I’m ready to file for bankruptcy as I’m unemployed & in two months I’ll be out of money if I don’t get a job. I’ve borrowed about $8k in a reserve line of credit at my bank. My bank deducts about $300/month for this from my checking account. If I file for bankruptcy will my reserve line of credit be taken care of in the bankruptcy or do I have to pay it back, IF I’m able to file bankruptcy? Thanks.

Will my partner debt relief order affect me?

My partner is in alot of debt however it was going back before we met 3 years ago, but building up and now caught up with him.
I live him and our 14 month old daughter however im financially ok, no outstanding debt, all in credit.
Citizens advice has said best way would be a debt relief order rather than bankruptcy, however im a little worried,
As i live with him and we share rent and bills will i have to do the debt relief aswel?
